Guy locks himself in a BMW stuck on the beach while the car is in reverse
Here is a person having a terrible day. This BMW 3 Series driver got his car stuck in the sand by the sea. To make matters worse, he sort of locked himself out of the vehicle. Worse yet, the BMW was in reverse, letting the wheels slip in the sand.
We hope the harshly sarcastic guy who filmed this scene helped the BMW driver after taking this video. However, beyond offering the use of a phone to call a locksmith and other helpers, there probably wasn’t much help to be provided.
Judging by the scene, here’s what we suspect about the backstory of this scene. The BMW driver parks on a dune overlooking the sea in East Hampton, New York. At one point he decided it was time to go, put the 3 Series into reverse, and nothing happened. Based on the ruts under each wheel, the guy hit the accelerator hoping to move his all-wheel-drive sedan and only got stuck more.
At that point, he was probably confused and confused about what was going on. The guy could have opened the door to look back because he wanted to see what was going on. Maybe there wasn’t a good view, and he decided to get out of the car very quickly. It’s not like the sedan is going anywhere.
Then the door closed. We wonder how long it took before the guy realized he was locked out of the car now. Was it the immediate horror as soon as the door closed? Or did he check what had happened and try to enter just to figure out the problem?
Unfortunately, we don’t know the end of this story. Maybe a locksmith in a truck arrived to unlock the door and free the stuck BMW. Alternatively, maybe the 3 Series spun their tires over that sand dune until the vehicle ran out of fuel.
