Dear friends and fans,

His statement goes on to offer more details.
“The methamphetamine attacks made me a shitty person. Taking large amounts of Xanax to get off the drugs ultimately shot me down and nearly killed me.
“I’m sober today. I’m not perfect at all, but every day I make amends to everyone I’ve affected and treated badly.

Mackenroth goes on to say that he did not abuse drugs for 46 days.
“In the midst of my addiction, I hurt a lot of people but most of all I hurt my boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend) @dolfdietrich. The list of horrible things I have done is long and shameful, but in a tangible effort of repair, I list all the things I have done and all the untruths so that he can have peace of mind and begin to repair the damage I have inflicted.
He goes on to say that while he was on drugs he “tormented and terrorized” his fellow adult artist Dolf Dietrich, “and made him feel unsafe in his own apartment. I broke into his apartment then that he was out of town and I took a lot of his personal belongings – clothes, computer, electronics, leather gear… etc. He trusted me and I betrayed that trust.
Mackenroth goes on to say that he publicly posted things about Dietrich that were bogus in an attempt to damage the brand of his then boyfriend. This included telling a gossip blog that her boyfriend was a “pedophile… which was 100% bullshit. It still haunts him today and I still feel remorse. “
Mackenroth says he had Dietrich banned from his gym for nudity and sent compromising photos of him to the gym management.
“The list of horrible things I have done was long and amazing, but I have to list them to be honest, to be a better man, and to make him feel good again.
“I blocked the lock on his apartment preventing access while his dog was inside and forced him to call an emergency locksmith.”
“I terrorized him with threats and the promise to hurt him.”
Mackenroth details several other examples of his behavior towards his ex: “The list goes on and on.”
“I am committed to rectifying whatever I can,” he said.
He ends by saying, “I can’t find any excuses for everything I’ve done. Saying “I was under the influence of methamphetamine and xanax” does not relieve me of the guilt. He didn’t deserve any of the bullshit that rained down on him and I’m surprised and honored that he’s still talking to me. It speaks of his incredible character as a human being. I hope he can forgive me and I hope everyone reading this allows me to show you that I am a new person. Actions speak louder than words. “

Mackenroth became HIV positive when he was just 19 years old. He publicly revealed his status in 2008 while running for Project track. Subsequently, he participated in a number of HIV awareness campaigns. In recent years, it has further grown its audience with its explicit OnlyFans content.
This isn’t the first time Mackenroth has issued a public apology to Dietrich. He did it at the end of May, but That one did not go into so many details. He said he was looking to get into a rehabilitation center.
Dietrich re-shared Mackenroth’s statement on his own social media. At Facebook he said, “It’s not easy for me to talk about it. In fact, I kept it a secret all year. I need to share. Not only to heal, I hope, but I hope that sharing my story of domestic violence could help someone else.
“Methamphetamine and violence are killing us in the LGBTQI community… don’t add hate messages for what he did to me; I got past that. I applaud Jack for his courage in writing this and being honest.
“It’s time to set the record straight. Many of you know that this year I have been robbed, terrorized, harassed and slandered. Police, courts, restraining order. I am a victim of domestic violence. Today the man who carried out these acts on me made a statement. Via @jackmackenroth ”
