More local builders rewarded for their excellence
Central Coast builders have won a number of categories at the 2021 HIA-CSR Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards.
Recently presented virtually, the 21st Annual Awards celebrated the achievements of the housing industry in the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
They recognized the talent of builders, contractors, designers and fabricators who plan and build quality new homes, townhouses, renovations, kitchens and bathrooms.
Judged by industry professionals, the winners were selected from 27 separate categories, with Central Coast-based companies taking home 10 awards.
Baker Built of Green Point won the Custom Built Home category of $ 400,001 to $ 500,000, while Construct Central Coast of West Gosford won the Spec Home category.
Living Green Designer Homes of Terrigal won the Custom Built Home award of $ 1.6M to $ 2M and Wamberal’s Xcalaba Building Services won the award in the Exterior Project category.
Mavid Construction, based on the Central Coast, took home the specialty housing award and Mennie Builders took home the $ 1 million to $ 1.6 million custom house.
In the north of the region, Clarendon Homes of
Warnervale received the Display Home Over $ 625,000 award, and Hotondo Homes of Hamlyn Terrace took home the award in the Project Home Over $ 400,000 category.
Trademark Building of Yattalunga won the Renovation / Addition award of $ 500,000 1 to $ 750,000 and Tullipan Homes of Tuggerah won the award in the HIA Professional Medium Builder / Renovator category for the fourth consecutive year.
