THE WOODLANDS, TX – It’s not too late to collect your tickets and join in the fun at the ‘Shelter for Shelter’ fundraising event to benefit YES to YOUTH – Montgomery County Youth Services. This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands.
This popular annual event will benefit YES to YOUTH’s youth accommodation and counseling programs; presented by Richmond Realty Group RE / MAX.
Presented by Richmond real estate group RE / MAX The Woodlands & Spring, the event will take place inside the spacious Mercedes-Benz showroom of The Woodlands located at 16917 I-45, Conroe, just north of The Woodlands. COVID-19 safety precautions will include masks, disinfectants, and social distancing will be encouraged.
YES to YOUTH (formerly known as Montgomery County Youth Services) is a non-profit organization that provides crisis counseling, residential accommodation programs, health services and prevention services to strengthen families and empower young people. project.
Services include individual, group and family mental health counseling; presentations and school boards in crisis situations; suicide prevention among youth and families; BridgeWay emergency shelter for young people (for ages 10 to 17); street awareness for homeless adolescents; and Health Support Program for Pregnant and Parenting Adolescents.
Mental health and homelessness services are currently the top and urgent priority for the need to support this important non-profit community. Proceeds from ticket sales will also help fund the shelter expansion project.
