Why Should I Pay For Your Student Loan Debt?
Why forgiving student debt is a bad idea | Chronicle of November 21
Why should we pay for you?
President-elect Joe Biden has said one of his ambitions is to forgo a minimum of $ 10,000 in current student loans per person. What happened to personal responsibility? Why did these people not calculate the cost of their education against the income one would expect after graduation as well as future income? If the costs were excessive, why not go to community college or junior college for the first two years? They could have taken courses in business that could have increased their future value as an employee.
Why should the millions of people who worked full or part time while in school be punished for those who chose a less stressful path? Why should the millions of people who have paid off their student loans be punished for being adults when it comes to finances? Last, but not least, why should those who didn’t go to college pay for those who didn’t have a solid plan to pay off their student loans?

Thanksgiving in 2020
Be thankful for your health
If your family’s Thanksgiving dinner – like our family’s – will have far fewer people around the table but all are still healthy, you have much to be thankful for. Too many families worry about having to eat. Consider donating the difference on what you would have spent on a large group to a local food bank, FEAST Food Pantry, or Feeding America. If you usually travel but aren’t this year, consider donating the cost of fuel, plane, or bus. Help others have a Happy Thanksgiving and be thankful that they are able to.

We are still in a public health crisis
The Hillsborough County Medical Association is in full agreement with the Florida Medical Association and the American Medical Association in condemning attacks on doctors who are falsely accused of financially benefiting from overcoverage of patients with COVID-19. Doctors and healthcare workers across the country have risked their lives, and the lives of their families, treating patients with COVID-19.
With coronavirus cases on the rise in all 50 states, it is incumbent on federal and state governments to cooperate and provide our healthcare workers with the personal protective equipment they need to protect themselves during this pandemic. The current administration should ensure a smooth transition to inbound administration to facilitate the protection of our health workers and the treatment of patients, especially with the imminent availability of vaccines.
There is still an urgent need for all of us to follow scientifically sound guidelines to protect ourselves, our families, friends and neighbors, by wearing masks, socially distancing ourselves, avoiding large gatherings, continuing to wash our hands and using hand sanitizer to overcome this public health crisis.

Environmental regulations under Biden
Bring back the environment
Joe Biden’s incoming administration must immediately rescind any environmental regulations that have been rescinded by this criminal administration. These regulations were put in place to save American lives. They must be reinstated as quickly as possible before another American is killed.
